Hi Targeteers!

I think things may be heading towards “normal” [what is normal?]around here. Hubs is doing well. Some swelling left and some bruising is showing but nothing horrible following surgery last Tuesday. We are both crazy with back pain AGAIN. Tylenol and Aleve are like breath mints around here. I have a stack of my home made “rice packs” in the freezer and we rotate them out to get added relief. Possible Cranium Game Deal

I just wanted to let you know that the game Cranium is included on the $5.00 off Target Printable coupon (that can still be found on “a full cup”) that doesn’t expire until the 30th of Sept AND the game also features a *$4.00 off peelie coupon (*if it hasn’t yet been pulled off by someone else) from the manufacturers that won’t expire until sometime in January.  At my target (Dallas suburb’s) the game is $15.05 so with the $9.00 off it’d be down to $6.05. Not bad considering we don’t know yet if the price will go $5.00 lower for the holiday season.

I quickly took out my calculator (always have one in your coupon kit for THIS reason) and I calculated how many printable coupons I had towards the $2.08 clearance price for Johnson Baby Shampoo & Head to Toe wash.

Coupons.com Updated List of Coupons – 08/26/2009

 

 

 

 

This week’s update is EXTENSIVE! Weekly you will find updates on the available coupons at Coupons.com. There are usually about 80 coupons on average on the low side and many times well over that number.

 

These coupons are on a first come, first serve basis. There is a maximum number of prints available for each coupon but that number is NOT published. If you find a coupon you want to use, print it while you can. The expiration dates on them is usually about 30 days from the day you print. Be aware that the high value coupons go quickly. You may print 2 of each by hitting the back button a few times.

 

Find local coupons by using your zip code. I will be using various zip codes to see what is available around the country. You will see that I use zip 92111 about 99% of the time. That is the zip where I find the largest number of coupons listed. YMMV (your millage may vary) when you use your own local zip code.

 

These coupons print with an extremely tiny printed border. This helps to authenticate that these are not fraudulent. When you cut, don’t cut that portion off and trash it. These coupons are accepted at most stores. To make sure, check with your favorite store.

Target Travel Size Coupon Match-up + note

Hi Targeteers,

I think Joanie at TheKrazyCouponLady pitched a tent at Target this week. She sent me this match-up too. I really appreciate her sharing her info with me and especially this week since hubs had the surgery out of town. So here it is early on Wednesday and I am about to post this and head to the hospital to pick him up and  head home. Surgery went well and I thank all of you for the nice notes of support and prayers.

NOTE: I am not a fan of using coupons on travel size items. It is a huge, labor intensive item to stock and not really cost effective from Target’s standpoint to offer it. It is a loss leader and most likely done as one of those items they carry that will get a customer in the door.Please use this type of coupon match-up as a way to use upons that may expire or as an item you really would like to have. Remember if you abuse this at some point, they’ll simply stop carrying these small sizes. Having said that, Joanie contacted Target’s customer service and here is her info and post about this subject. …..

Do you like travel size items? Sometimes I love having a stockpile of travel size, but I don’t suggest going hog wild. No one needs 20 travel size shampoos!

Target DOES accept coupons for travel size items, even if the coupon value exceeds the product value AS LONG AS THE COUPON DOES NOT EXCLUDE TRIAL SIZE or have a minimum volume or weight.

Make sure you inform yourself on Target Coupon Policy. If you have any trouble, stay VERY POLITE! Target guest relations has incredible customer service and they will take care of you! So don’t huff and puff if you come in contact with an uneducated store manager.
